These teeth are smaller in size, but otherwise similar to Mennerotodus glueckmani ZHELEZKO, 1994 from the late Eocene of Kazakhstan. The teeth are very flat in profile. The lingual crown face may have faint striations. The cutting edge is complete and, on lateral teeth, very often serrated basally (like Jaekelotodus and to a lesser degree Palaeohypotodus). Anterior teeth have rather small, but sharp cusplets, while those on lateral teeth are low, wide and mostly serrated; these cusplets exhibit a wide variation.


All specimens were found in late Thanetian (NP9) deposits in France (dept.60).
